Free from harmful, hormone-disrupting chemicals, these natural deodorants keep you feeling fresh and smelling lovely.

I’m not a fan of antiperspirants because it doesn’t quite sit right with me that we use chemicals to keep our bodies from detoxifying naturally through sweating.  I have however, tried many brands of natural deodorant over the years.  Admittedly, it can be tough to find ones that work well.  Because of the many harmful ingredients that go into traditional deodorants that can seep into our blood stream, it’s definitely worth it to find a natural deodorant that works for you.

The following two natural deodorants have worked exceptionally well for me.  Depending on your body chemistry you may need something different but the Soapwalla option (which I use everyday) has excellent reviews across the board.

1. Soapwalla Deodorant Cream – Lavender, peppermint and tea tree oil keep you smelling clean, while natural clays and powders absorb moisture.  All you need is a little of this cream smoothed across your pits to keep you feeling fresh!

2. Kynk Pit Stop Powder Deodorant– This Canadian company’s claim is that ‘If you can’t eat it, we don’t use it!’.  I love that their products are so green.  This inexpensive powder deodorant really works to help to keep me dry (and sweet smelling!) all day long.  A word of caution with your clothes- sprinkle this on before getting dressed to avoid dousing yourself and your favourite blouse in white powder.  After a few minutes the powder will absorb into your skin.

  1. I’ve been wanting to try natural deodorants for a long time but just haven’t found the time to do the necessary research. I’ll definitely try these out. Thanks!

  2. This is such a great post, I also have to show my mom this! She is constantly trying to find a natural one that works well but has yet to find the right now (then once she finds one I’ll use it to, she does all the hard work in finding it haha)

    1. Thank you Camilla! The Soapwalla option is excellent, especially if you prefer a more traditional deodorant option. I hope it works for both you and your mom. 🙂
